Well unlike past weeks I didn't need a dictionary for this weeks Scavenger hunt word! I didn't even have to look far for my inspiration. lol I love my cats... one day my family was going to go to a family get together at my aunts house so I went to check on my cats and when I go to the back I see this:

This is my kitten. lol He is almost one and allreay picking up bad habits! So this made me realize my cats have an easy life. they get fed in bed and can sleep as much as they want... oo the life of a cat. I have some funny pictures of Theo for you.

lol like I said, he has got some bad habits but I love him any way. ( this was set up but he attacked me when I tried to take it away. lol it wasn't even open... my dad's had that beer for a while though, so I'm not sure if its even good.)

Spring break

Hello all!
So I know I haven't written for a while..... and I have an excuse... it was spring break. I know "but Jessica that means you had more time to write and upload all sorts of interesting stuff!" lol well for those of you who still have not caught on I have a boring life and so that creates nothing interesting to write about. lol
I'll tell you about my spring break ... make sure your comfortable, because you may fall asleep... now where shall I start? I guess I'll start on Monday because thats when something sort of interesting happened. OK...

ON Monday:
I went to Grand Forks and I bought lots of clothes and i got the Twilight movie and I got the third book, Eclipse, it was LOTS of fun. I realized one thing though.... US money sucks. I hate all those 1 dollar bills... SOOOOOOOOOO annoying, but we had fun. the day after the road to and from Grand Forks from Canada was closed due to flooding... so thankfully we made it!

Tuesday:
On Tuseday I worked in the morning and I..... don't know what I did in the afternoon. Probably just watched TV ... It was snowing... yay! NOT! I'm so sick of the snow and slush and puddles and mud.

Wednesday:
I worked from 8 am - 5pm we set up a gazebo in Co-op and I learned how to use a talxon it was fun. Samantha and I also made a house plan if we would ever buy that building... it was interesting and fun. In the evening I babysat for Lisa... the kids are all sick YAY!!

Thursday:
On Thursday I working in the morning again and then Jessica came over and we played Balderdash, thats a super fun game. Its basically a whole bunch of weird NEVER used english words that you write definitions for. LOTS of fun. lol I learn lots of interesting things from that game.

Friday:
Well on Friday I didn't really do anything... I started reading Eclipse by Stephinie Meyers.... SOOOO GOOD!! lol I love Jacob... Edwards awesome too lol but Jake makes me smile... like REALLY smile lol WAY more then Edward dose... its SOOO GOOD! a MUST READ for all book lovers...lol maybe not all some people would find it VERY weird due to the fact that there are Vampires and Werewolves so.... lol if you not into that.. give it a try, keep an open mind, and remember most books start slow.. it might pick up and you'll love it!

Saturday:
I went bowling for my cousin Jessica's sweet 16. lol Lots of fun. we did theme bowling. For those of you that don't know what that is, you pick a style/ way of bowling and then everyone does it that way for a round. like granny bowling or backwards..... or bumper bowling or lying down.... lol and yes we had bumpers. our second game was seriouse but we still had the lowest scores of all the lanes. lol It was A LOT of fun though!

Sunday:
Church and.... nothing else... oooo I had drama practice. That was fun.. ish. I love drama but I can't wait until it is over! lol we all still had our lines memorized after 8 days of no practice so I think we'll do great. I can't wait!

That is pretty much my spring break. I was banned from the computer so I could do fun family activities. Once again I'm sorry for not writing ... lol no one missed it but still..... lol

Shenanigans

I had some trouble thinking of something to do for this one, but settled for a story...
well.... a story in pictures. A picture is worth a thousand words after all. lol

happy belated St Patty's day!!

Yesterday was St. Patric's day. Sorry I missed it. I was going to wright an entry but I got to busy. I'm working on LOTS of things for school... Yesterday we got our grad hoodies and mine fit!! lol I just guessed on the size so I guess the luck of the Irish was with me! I hope everyone else had a good day!I got the cover for the yearbook done... I'll see if it fits in here and people can tell me what they think... if anybody reads this. LOL
It doesn't work......... its an InDesign file....so I don't know, maybe if i formatted it into a picture you can't! It looks pretty cool though anyway!

Now I'm working on the Charlotte's Web poster for the upcoming Drama.
Drama practice is LOTS of fun... last time we practiced... I think it was on sunday... ALL the lights went out in EVERYWHERE all of Altona, Gretna, Horndeen EVERYWHERE!! lol
We were in the middle of practice and we were like OH NO whats going on. Then we saw that all of Altona was dark, and there were lots of cars leaving then we were like, this is like a horror film. So it was funny we were going over a whole bunch of horror film scenarios it was TONS of fun!! I still don't know why the power went out but we'll prolly find out in the Echo lol they have nothing better to write about!

Treats!

This weeks Scavenger hunt word was treats... since I have a dog and 2 cats we've got treats to spare! lol My dog thinks everything is her treats though... even her own food, but thats a Lab for you! I was trying to get my siblings to bow to me to show how they treat me with respect but it wasn't working. My mom also treated me to Jello... lol Jello YUM! so heres this weeks pics! We're being treated to REALLY nice weather!!

CHANGE

The Saturday word of the week for march 7th was change. I think that was a good word choice for the time of year as winter changes into summer we are caught in the beginning of spring. so on Saturday I took note of all the change going on around me.

Snow changes to water, which changes to ice in the night... ice sucks, but that's besides the point! so that is a puddle in ice that has snow around it!







People changed the way they think about me... ( I know I would have if I saw me taking pics of myself while walking down the street. lol It was SUPER fun though!)

TFK vs FM Static

SO Yesterday I was listening to FM static.(FM Static is a Toronto-based pop punk band currently signed to Tooth & Nail Records. The band was started as a side project by Thousand Foot Krutch frontman, Trevor McNevan and drummer Steve Augustine.) THEY'RE AWESOME, but that's beside the point.
The other band Thousand Foot Krutch sings screamo (for those who don't know what I mean when I say screamo its exactly how the sounds the artists basically just scream) and I don't really like them. So I was wondering why they started FM Static. I LOVE FM Static but not TFK they're OK but I just can't really listen to their music for long periods of time... and I defiantly can't listen to them in concert. Is that weird??
I know that they are basically the same people but the type of music is SOO different. Tell me what you think FM Static or TFK??

Good Happy Tuseday Morning

SOOOOO this morning I was VEEEEEEEEEEEERY BORED! YAY me!! So I Joined the Saturday scavenger hunt club thingy....... that should be fun.... well see... i prolly wont always post it on Saturday but its going to be super fun anyway.
I haven't blogged in a long time and I have NO PICTURES on here lol but we'll do it!! Here are some pictures... I took this picture in my backyard.... i really like the coloring in the sky and the shape of the tree. I love that there is a feild right behind our house. It gives me an amazing veiw of the sun set, I have a pretty good view of sun rises to but we have houses in front of us so it would be weird, the people would think that I was stalking their house. LOL or profiling their house or something. That would be great! I can hear them now... they'd probably be talking in German but it would probably go something like...
"You know that crazy neighbor girl?"
"yeah Dave and Lisa's daughter"
"yeah, she was taking pictures of me eating breakfast again"
"I'll call the police next time"

maybe..... so I can't take pictures of the sunrise but I love the sunset its more romantic anywho!! Isn't that beautiful?? lol
I LOVE IT!! So pretty and romantic!lol For Manitoba in the middle of winter anyway! lol SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO COLD, but it was worth it in the end, I think....
This is a picture (the one on the right) I took at a house down my street I really like the line of the fence and the shadow of the fence on the snow... its a cute fence.... I want a cute fence... we don't have a fence.... Well we have an underground fence that keeps my dog on the yard, only when she's wearing the shock caller, witch is broken right now... lol she doesn't know that.... she stays on the yard pretty well now though. I love my dog, Hannah, she's a black lab and she's SUPER cute.

Acquire the Fire

HELLO READERS!!
So on the weekend.... not this weekend last weekend..... like Valentines weekend I went to ACQUIRE THE FIRE. It was amazing! Just like last year. I loved the drama, the videos, the praise and worship, the concert, it was AMAZING!! I thought the skit was better last year but this years skit was AMAZING....they even sang a Hanna Montana song in it. lol It was her song "i miss you" or something like that. Its a really good song. The theme this year was "Make some Trouble". It was really good. It was at the Minneapolis Convention center, that place is awesome. the sessions were: The trouble with Parents, The Trouble with Living the Letter (or the bible), and trouble with the opposite Sex. It was SOOOOOOO GOOD.

We got up at 4:30 we got to the church at 5:30and left at 6...... we drove to the Emerson border and waited there for 40 min and then sat in the bus with a short break in there for lunch.... it took us 8 hours to get there tons of fun... lol 100 and some teenagers came from our group so it was CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZY i loved it though... it took me FOREVERE to post this!!! SORRY! If anyone wants to hear more about it... just ask lol.

So now I just need to find a way to put it on here! She made it look all awesome and everything! I think we should put it on a tee-shirt. Then we'd feel like a real club!! lol
